2 New Projects!
Ever since I finished Lacustrine Dreams, I’ve been hunting for my next project(s) and they have arrived. First, I’ll be an artists in Residence at the Temescal Art Center in Oakland, CA, part of the SPARK! My session ends with a evening performance and conversation on July 25th, 2026 (my birthday by the way). My plan is to created a room of rain. At SPARK, I’ll build In Rain, an interactive performance environment simulating rain, through video, sound, spoken word and subsonic vibrations, reflecting the myriad ways rain transforms, cleanses, brings new life and even destroys.
I’m also in the very early stages of another project, once again about Lake Tahoe. I can’t say much now, as I’m still negotiating with stakeholders, but I am really excited for this next sci/art collaboration examining geologic processes and microplastics. This one is going to be big, a community construction, suspended and beaded!
