Twining: Square start
Soak up 10 ribs and one long weaver to start this time with a square bottom.
I lost the next video!!!! Argh. Will reshoot soon as I can. Basically do this:
pull out ONE LONG weaver and fold in half over your awl, carefully not to crack it.
Slip the loop of the long weaver [the loop you’ve made by folding it in half] and slip it over the rib at the TOP RIGHT corner of your square.
Begin twining: take the weaver on top a push it behind the second rib/ take the weaver from behind and pull it over the second rib. REPEAT.
Be careful around the corners. You’ll need to be deliberate and work with intention to keep the square shape. Gradually it will get rounder though.
Twine around keeping your rows flat for 3 or 4 rounds. We’ll make this one a little wider at the base to make it easier to twine.
In video #5 I go over adding a weaver which is a lot like adding the weaver at the very start.
