Work in this series explored the parallel journeys of 2 sets of immigrants, early American pioneers of the late 19th century in the context of western expansion and late 20th pilgrims fleeing econmic hardships, both in search of the american dream.  The work reflects the malleablity of history and personal memory and how architecture plays into our ability to recall experiences. Ideas of distopia and utopia begin to surface as both parties struggle along their disparate journeys.
